It is official! Tickets have even been Purchased already! Hurray!
Single Session Tickets and Festival Passes (admission to all six performance sessions) are now available at the Broadway Center Box Office:

253.591.5894 or Toll Free 1.800.291.7593
https://www.choicesecure01.net/mainapp/eventschedule.aspx?clientid=broadwaycenter&prod=AACTF

IMPORTANT TIPS:
Tip #1: Festival Passes (admission to all six performance sessions)are not available online and need to be purchased over the phone. 253.591.5894

Tip #2: The Broadway Center, like many Performing Arts Centers, uses a centralized service to manage their online ticket purchasing. This means SERVICE CHARGES! While buying online is convenient, it will also mean that a $7 ticket may cost you as much as $11. That can add up quick! There's not much we can do about it. For that reason we emphatically recommend that you purchase your tickets over the phone unless you are just buying one or two session tickets.

SNAPPING TOURS Part III: In the Steps of The Audience

When we left our scenic tour, we were somewhere in the bowels of the Pantages Theatre, amongst dressing rooms, sub-basements and places where cast and crew will dwell. But not everyone who attends AACTFest in Tacoma will have such a windowless view. Let's return to Broadway (the street, in Tacoma) and follow the steps of the audience . . .

The Audience and Festival Attendees will enter the Pantages Theatre Lobby through these doors, and enter the newly renovated Pantages Lobby, completed in a capital upgrade just three years ago.

The Pantages Lobby (once marred by a carbuncle of a staircase in the middle of it) is spacious enough to accomodate private events and public gathering in and of itself. For AACTFest '09, the Lobby will become an exhibition hall, featuring over a dozen purveyors of theatrical supplies and services including Music Theatre International, Theatrical Rights World Wide, Dramatic Publishing, Rosco, Great American Market (GAM), Apollo Design Inc., SECOA, Manhattan Tour & Travel, Select Entertainment and more . . . Stop in on Wednesday between 11am and 1pm and get a bite of lunch and visit one-on-one with the Exhibitors!

Later in the week, part of this space will be turned into the display area for the Design Exhibition. Of course, like any Lobby it has the traditional accoutrements, Bathrooms (including handicapped accessible), Historical Displays, and Concessions!

Just a few steps up the Grand Staircase (and accessible by elevator as well!) and you will be in the Mezzanine Lobby which is where the AACT Endowment Silent Auction will be Wednesday through Saturday. Endowment funds help defray the cost to participating companies to travel to AACTFests, so check out the great items for bidding!

Through these doors await Twelve Terrific Performances by your colleagues from around the nation (and beyond) in an experience that is bound to be memory making. Have you registered yet? Bought your tickets yet? Don't forget! Be sure and register online at www.aactfest09.org. Single Tickets and Festival Passes for AACTFest will be on sale through the Broadway Center Box Office by the end of May. Keep an eye out at www.broadwaycenter.org for the announcement of tickets ON SALE.
